2016 Outlooks in the Fashion World!
January 03, 2016
Will something new and different be in trend in this new year?
Will everything be as simple and overrated as skinny jeans?
Perhaps a new and unique investment?
What's more to come in 2016?
In case, you're wondering why I'm here, I am blogging about the outlooks of 2016 in the world of fashion. Each and every year we have different trends, styles, news, technologies and what not, humans are creating magic everyday. So, I have quiet a list of things to look out this year which I have briefly researched on. Here you go:
WEARABLE TECHNOLOGIES? YES PLEASE!
Technology and fashion are clearly juxtaposing worlds. However, in 2015, we have been entertained by the combination of fashion and technology when we saw how Apple decided to involve Hermes to create their newest Apple watch leather strap and how FitBit collaborated with Tory Burch for their designs. It has been going around that this year, Google and Levi's are developing new designs. They are planning to create a trouser which can be used as a touch screen. Levi's are involving more and more technologies for their production. Guess we can look out for more tech fashion!
THE APOCALYPSE OF SKINNY JEANS AND BIRTH OF CAR-WASH SKIRTS
This might sound impossible to some of us; apocalypse of skinny jeans. Well, it's real. This year might just be the year where skinny jeans will bore the runway and trend list. Frankly saying, I am a huge fan of skinny jeans and will probably continue wearing that until God knows when.
From skinny jeans to car-wash skirts, what could car-wash skirts possible be? The design looks literally like those car wash essentials, it is fringe-based. The creative design has got the attention of many designers and people and it definitely knows its way to the market. We will be seeing you in the runways ~
SUNNY COLOURS UP!
This year will be a lot brighter than last year. We have been a "slave" towards khaki, navy and olive colours for the last two years and this year might just be brighter and sunnier. Instead of all those dark and dull colours peachy, pastel and minty colours are coming in this year.
We have the peached pink, buttercup yellow, limpet shell blue, coral peach, fiesta red and green flash.
Let's await these colours in the stores.
MORE LUXURY RETAILS? OR LESS?
With falling sales around Asia, a few luxury brands such as Prada, Louis Vuitton and such are doing this thing called "Retail Reboot". In order to make it up to their decreasing sales, they have to 'reboot' their retail stores this year by improving their visual merchandise and improve their service, stock better products and they have to shut down a few stores as well. Let's look out for these brands' reboot.
Finishing off today's post with a huge thanks! For actually spending your time in reading my blog :)
