Overalls in question is the every bit of sporty, casual, fun and sweet. The existence of overalls travels back to decades and decades ago. People first saw overalls worn by construction workers, painters and plumbers. However, overalls were popularized in the American youth culture by 1970s and was on the peak of the trends by 1990s. Until today, overalls are still known as one of the most youthful denim basics. I guess we can all anticipate to more different overalls this year (like seriously, denim is currently taking over the world of fashion). 

I was not a huge fan of overalls but when I got to learn about the various types of overalls, I purchased 2 of them and no, they were not bought at the same time. And so, I thought it would be fun to write a blogpost on how I style these two different overalls.

Here goes the first look;

The first look focuses on the colour grey. This overall has an A-line silhouette skirt with a tight-lined stripe pattern. Along with the overall, I wore my glittery fitted top. On top of it all, I accessorize myself with a choker and studded bracelet.

And, my second look;

As for the second look, instead of being all grey and dark, I went a tad bit colourful with the eye patterned top from an unnamed brand and an Adidas jacket from one of the many Rita Ora collection. The overalls I wore was purchased from Zara just a few months ago. Unlike the first one, this one has a simpler silhouette and it has no patterns at all. I personally love this look for the combination of patterns and the casual overall.

The contradiction between the two looks is the vibe; the second one looks more playful and lively compared to the first one. Through the making this blogpost, I had a lot of fun experimenting with how the two different overalls can create different vibes!
